I was on Camino and this property is right on route and next to the Cathedral square. The location & facilities were superb. They have a Pilgrim store with some basics and a few consumable items. The owners are SO welcoming - they truly care about your stay & happiness. The place is expertly decorated. A clean and comfortable living space for pilgrims. The cafe serves tasty and healthy meals. The hostel is well-maintained with stylish common rooms. Laundry facilities are available for a reasonable price. The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful, and excellent with customer service.

On hot summer days, the lack of a ceiling fan or air conditioning in some rooms may make the temperature uncomfortable for guests.

I stayed at Ideas Peregrinas during my Camino de Santiago journey and I had a truly fantastic experience. The hostel's central location made it convenient for exploring the area, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with clean bedding and a cozy bed. The shared bathroom was always clean and I never had any issues using it. I also loved the fact that they had a cafe with delicious food options and a "Camino shop" where I could find all the necessary trekking supplies. I had a great stay and would highly recommend Ideas Peregrinas for anyone looking for a clean and comfortable accommodation in Tui.

I stayed at Ideas Peregrinas for 2 nights and it was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect, with amazing views and great facilities. The hostel was clean and smelled amazing. The private room with a ceiling window was a unique touch that made for a memorable stay. The hostel's own café served tasty and healthy food. The staff were wonderful and the hostel had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I'll definitely be back, even if I'm not on the Camino!

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel in the shadow of a beautiful cathedral. Ideas Peregrinas was a perfect choice for starting the second leg of our Camino Portuguese. the quad room was comfortable, and we loved the kitchen with laundry facilities. the hotel even had a meditation/quiet room, which was a great space for relaxation. the location was fantastic, surrounded by plenty of cafes, shops, and attractions. the staff were friendly and provided helpful tips. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast served at the cafe downstairs. a welcoming place that catered to pilgrims' needs.

The dormitory rooms are heated and each person gets their own cozy bed, clean sheets, and a warm blanket. The private rooms with shared or private bathrooms offer more privacy. The cafe serves up a tasty and healthy menu, and the honesty system for using the washing facilities is convenient. there is a well-stocked shop with essential trekking supplies.

The lock in one of the bathroom doors tends to get stuck easily.

ideas peregrinas was everything i hoped for during my stay in tui. the albergue exceeded my expectations with its stunning design, comfy beds, and attention to detail. i felt right at home and even considered changing my plans to stay another night.

poor shower drainage

Lovely decoration and very warm welcoming staff. the location is perfect, only a footstep to the main attraction. Room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable - we rested so well in this lovely place. the dinner provided in the café was excellent and of very high quality. I definitely recommend!

The WiFi didn't quite work in our room. the drains in the showers were clogged, causing water to overflow onto the bathroom floor all night long.

Great location on the Camino, close to Tui Cathedral; attached cafe; comfortable and relaxing communal areas; helpful staff for late arrivals; clean and nicely styled; good bathrooms; comfortable mattress; separate locked cabinets for each bed; small lamp for every bed; kitchen and lounge areas available; open from 4pm; coffee place open from 7am.
