As a seasoned traveler who has visited almost a hundred hostels, my recent stay at Koba in San Sebastian was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were spotless. I was impressed by the thoughtful amenities in the room, such as the electric outlet, lamp, and shelf for my bunk. The presence of lockers and the option to rent padlocks added a sense of security. The separation of the sleeping area from the showers and bathroom was a nice touch, allowing for convenience and uninterrupted rest. The morning staff provided excellent recommendations and even invited me for a surf session nearby. The presence of a guitar in the common area and the complimentary breakfast made the experience even more memorable. Koba's staff truly went above and beyond to create a welcoming and enjoyable stay.

With its superb location in the heart of the city, Koba Hostel offers convenience and easy access to all the attractions. Just a short walk away from the surfer's beach, train/bus station, and the city center, guests can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and explore everything the city has to offer. The clean and well-maintained bedrooms provide a comfortable stay, with hot showers and cozy beds. The friendly staff is always welcoming and ready to provide information and advice about wine bars and local attractions. Plus, the hostel offers a simple yet satisfying breakfast, including toast, OJ, cereal, and cheese and ham toppings.

Some guests have mentioned thin walls, which may result in noise disturbances from other guests.

Koba, the hostel I stayed at, was modern and stylish with a welcoming reception area. the staff, particularly Inigo, were friendly and spoke excellent English. the private room I had was clean, spacious, and equipped with a comfortable bed. the location was great, within walking distance to the oldest part of town but still quiet. I also enjoyed the Basque language introduction in the breakfast room. Koba Hostel provided a clean, comfortable, and stylish stay in a central location.

I recently stayed at Koba Hostel for my vacation in San Sebastian. The modern design of the hostel was impressive and the smart lounge/sitting room with cozy pillows was a great place to relax. I loved the board with recommended events for the day in town, and the whole building was impeccably clean. The kitchen had all the necessary cooking equipment and I appreciated the environmentally friendly concept, as well as the canvas bags for sheets. The funny WIFI password added a nice touch. Additionally, the hostel's location was perfect, being situated close to authentic pintxos bars, local markets, and the beach.

Everything was just great! We were a little hesitant to book at first due to the price, but we were so glad we did. The staff at Koba Hostel helped us with everything we needed, from food recommendations to organizing activities. And the breakfast they provided was super generous! The common areas were spacious and beautifully decorated, with comfy sofas where we could watch movies or work on our laptops. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had private bathrooms. The location of the hostel was also fantastic, just a short stroll to the beach. we had an exceptional stay at Koba Hostel and highly recommend it.

My stay at Koba was absolutely delightful. The staff made me feel welcome and were always willing to help. The 8-bed room I stayed in was comfortable and satisfying. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Zurriola beach and other attractions. The hostel was clean, well-maintained, and had a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen and private bathrooms were spotless. I can't say enough about how amazing my experience was at this gem of a hostel. Thank you!
