We loved staying at Alda. the bedroom was clean and although it had a wooden theme, it gave a cozy and rustic feel. the fabulous garden outside provided a beautiful setting, although there could have been more chairs to fully enjoy it. the breakfast was good and satisfying. Despite the higher price, the accommodations and amenities were not up to our expectations for this area.

the wood cabins at alda were even better than expected, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, and a charming glamping vibe. the location is perfect for the camino and the huge backyard is a great place to relax and have meals. exceeded expectations!

The rooms were nice and clean, with comfortable beds. The location of the hotel was convenient, being on the way of Camino Frances and within walking distance of a few eating places.-Beds were comfortable.

There was no nearby restaurant, despite the photos showing one. When I asked about coordinating dinner, I was informed that I had to request it 15 days in advance, which was not communicated to me beforehand.

the staff provided excellent service and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. the room was clean and comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the woody fragrance in the cabin. the bathroom was spacious and suitable for people with disabilities. the dinner options were great, especially the vegetarian menu. It was a lovely experience along the Camino, with a friendly and professional staff.

I recently stayed at Alda in Palas de Rei while on the Camino Frances. The location was perfect, with several nearby eating places and a peaceful, clean surrounding. I loved that all the rooms were on the ground level, making it convenient and accessible. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond due to the restaurant being closed, offering to drive us into town for dinner and picking us up when we were done. The beautiful property and wooden chalets made for a piece of heaven on the Camino. It truly exceeded my expectations and I would have loved to stay longer.

Stayed at what felt like a holiday camp instead of a pilgrim hostel. Staff not super friendly, but on the bright side, the location was right on the Camino and the room was comfortable.

The value for money at Alda was fantastic, with beautiful cabin-style rooms and a big breakfast included. The location was perfect, just outside of town and right on the Camino, with spacious gardens to relax in. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

I had a fantastic stay at Alda, located right on the El Camino. the staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the rooms were clean. After a long day of walking, it was so relaxing to sit outside on the patio and order drinks and appetizers. Unlike many other hotels on the Camino, Alda made it easy to find food between 5:00 and 7:30 pm, which is a huge relief when you're tired and hungry. the comfortable beds and clean rooms were the icing on the cake.
