We loved the charming and characterful building with its beautiful grounds. The room was comfortable, well-designed, and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast served outside was excellent. The ability to park our campervan within the grounds was reassuring. There were also great restaurants within walking distance.

We felt well taken care of, with nothing being too much trouble.

What a delightful country house experience! The grounds are stunning and well-maintained, making it perfect for a winter wonderland Christmas getaway. The breakfast spread was impressive with fresh fruit, toast, croissants, coffee, and juice. They also have a beautiful communal lounge area with a small bar, which was great for a warm drink after exploring the charming nearby villages. The location was spot on, easy to access via car, and just a stone's throw away from several delicious restaurants.

The heating system was a little lacking, and our room was quite cold when we first arrived. We had to rely on the electric heater to help warm up the room. Also, there were a few creepy crawlies that appeared in the room, but it's understandable given the remote countryside location. Nonetheless, our overall experience was excellent, and we enjoyed our Christmas stay in the idyllic countryside.
