I found my initial room to be unpleasantly dark, with little natural light coming through a tiny courtyard window. The smell emanating from the bathroom was quite unbearable and affected my overall comfort during my stay. Although I was eventually moved to a better room, the initial experience left me feeling disappointed and uneasy about the quality of accommodations here.

I almost thought this hotel would be lovely, until I heard the daily noise from the café below my room, which woke me every morning. Additionally, the shower flooded the floor with its disastrous design. I anticipated receiving a room upgrade for enduring this, but obviously that was expecting too much. Just couldn’t give a good review.

Elena at reception was a real chommie, worked hard to find us a last-minute room. The location is just lekker, a short stroll to the cathedral. The service was top-notch, defs made us feel at home during our stay. Plus, good WiFi to stay connected!

We visited the Cathedral and explored charming plazas nearby. The location was prime, super central for walking everywhere. The breakfast was plentiful and always fresh. Definitely try the local restaurants around the area. Reception staff were great, too, helped us with everything we needed.
