Our stay at the Macdonald resort was excellent value for money. The room was stylish, luxurious, and had a stunning balcony with amazing views. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We had a warm and welcoming reception from the staff, including Jaime, who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment we initially had was good but didn't receive sun all day. However, Jaime and Estafania were able to arrange for a different apartment with a double balcony that gave us sun almost all day. The location of the resort is great, within easy walking distance of the village, and the apartment had stunning sea views. The leisure facilities were excellent and everything was kept very clean. The staff were polite and friendly.

This beachfront hotel is in a fantastic location with great views to the sea. It is also conveniently located near the village centre, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with amenities like a fully equipped kitchen and a spa bath in the bathroom. The staff provides excellent service and goes above and beyond to accommodate guests' needs. The restaurant offers a friendly and delicious menu, and there are also options to have meals delivered to the rooms.

Some guests mentioned that the pool hours could be extended to allow for late evening swims.

Excellent location, close to downtown with many restaurants, shops. Great view from balcony/terrace. Friendly, helpful staff. Well-equipped kitchen. Parking spaces not very big, but not a problem.

The 2 bed apartment was fantastic, very comfortable and all the amenities you could ask for in a home away from home. Fully equip kitchen, main bathroom with spa bath/overhead shower, master bedroom with ensuite with large shower gels/shampoos and hair dryer. Second bedroom with twin beds and lounge with table and chairs, TV and double sofa bed - which meant we all had our own space and double beds to sleep in as the lounge had a door for privacy. Off the lounge was a large balcony with table and chairs. the very best part was the absolutely spectacular view of the Mijas mountains all the way down to the ocean. at night you could see the lights of Fuengirola and surrounds. Facilities at the hotel are great, scenery is gorgeous and pools are sparkling. Perfectly adequate for dipping in and out when you're enjoying the sun. I can imagine it could get crowded, however I think that courtesy of guests can come in to play. we did have the pleasure of meeting some of the owners/frequent guests who are lovely and extremely helpful with suggestions of surrounds. Mijas village is literally minutes walk away with great options on food and drinks. There are a few different supermarkets to buy your supplies. What can we say about the staff? Not enough praise, from the check in to the handing over of the keys at 04:30am every single person couldn't have been more kind, attentive and professional. From concierge/reception who even helped me to print out a boarding pass, to the pool guards who were so lovely the restaurant staff who were excellent and happy to accommodate us to no end even dropping our meals to the room.

The resort had excellent wifi coverage and the views were fabulous.

The views from Macdonald La Ermita were absolutely amazing. the resort is situated in a lovely and quiet location, just a short walk to the main town square. the property is up a hill, which might be slightly difficult for some, but it offers breathtaking views of the coast below. the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-furnished, making it perfect for families. the facilities include a gymnasium, indoor pool, steam room, and two outdoor pools, all with stunning views. This is definitely the best accommodation we have stayed in during our visits to Mijas.

I had a wonderful stay at Macdonald La Ermita Resort. The views from my apartment were breathtaking, overlooking the valley and coastline. The apartment itself was clean, well-stocked, and even had complimentary water. The midweek maid service was a nice touch. The onsite Bistro offered simple but delicious meals, and the service from the staff was exceptional. Pablo at reception was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend this resort.

Sunbed reservation issue where guests would reserve beds but not use them, leaving others without a place to relax. Dated furnishings in some apartments, which may not match the pictures shown on confirmation.
