The location was excellent, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. The staff were lovely and the room was clean, tidy, and even had a balcony. The hotel offered great value for money and felt more than a 1-star hostel. I had a really good experience and I would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at House Rooms in Madrid for a few nights. The hotel's location was excellent, it was centrally situated and close to Chueca and Gran Via. The rooms were well decorated and the beds were large and comfortable. The main lady who managed the rooms and reception was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Additionally, the hotel offered excellent amenities such as fast WiFi, a good air conditioning system, and a convenient fridge in the rooms.

Christmas at this hotel was great! the staff was lovely and the room was clean and tidy. the location couldn't have been better, with lots of bars, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. We were able to walk to the Royal Palace, Sabatini Gardens, Prado, and Retiro Park. the room also had a balcony, which was a nice bonus.

On the downside, the room was quite small and there was a lot of noise from the street at night, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the hotel didn't have a full-time staff, so there were times when we had to rely on a sign with a phone number to call for help, which was inconvenient.
