We stayed at Melia and absolutely loved it. Our room had beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the city. I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the peaceful Poblenou area of Barcelona. It was conveniently located just a 10-minute metro ride from the city center, and only a short 5-minute walk from the metro station. The best part was that even though it was close to everything Barcelona has to offer, the location itself was peaceful and serene. My room had a breathtaking view of the sea, and the large comfortable bed made for a restful night's sleep. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. We received two complimentary drinks upon arrival which was a nice touch. the hotel was located close to the beach and within walking distance of a variety of restaurants. the bed was comfortable and we had a balcony with a nice view.

Our room was not very clean upon arrival. the bathroom had mold in the shower and the towels were stained.
