We had outstanding value for our money at Parador De Zafra. The room had a unique vaulted ceiling and we felt like royalty exploring the castle turrets and towers. The location allowed us to experience the authentic charm of the village, and the staff treated us wonderfully.

The menu for breakfast could have had more variety.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the historic center. You can easily explore the main attractions of the town from here. Plus, the staff at the hotel is incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. They even went the extra mile by leaving a comfy bed for my dog in the room, complete with treats and a bowl. It's great to find a hotel that truly caters to pet owners.

I must admit that the bathroom fittings in the room were a bit outdated and could use an update.

But the highlight was definitely exploring the castle rooms and ramparts, it felt like a wonderful adventure. I highly recommend this hotel.

That the staff initially had us carry our luggage up to our room, but we later found out there was an elevator available. However, this minor inconvenience did not detract from the overall amazing experience we had at this hotel.

We found a hidden gem in the heart of the town, truly in a beautiful castle. The location couldn't be better, right in the historic centre, close to the grand plaza. The breakfast was delicious, with a range of options to suit everyone's tastes. We also enjoyed taking a dip in the pool and soaking up the sun in the courtyard.

Over the New Year, I had a great experience staying in a historic hotel that has been beautifully renovated. the staff were generally polite, and the location was perfect for many attractions. the breakfast, which offered fantastic bread and cheese, was an excellent start to the day. the hotel's pool and air conditioning were hugely appreciated, as it can get very hot in the region. the fact that the hotel had easy parking and the surrounding area had great shopping made my stay even better.

Although I loved staying in the hotel, there were a few things that could have been better. the staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming.

Loved the rich heritage and design, but the real highlight was the spectacular façade with its towers and turrets. A great place to have business meetings and conferences, if you can find a room available.

paradore zafra was exceptional! stunning courtyard, spacious room, and friendly staff. breakfast & menu options were delicious. zafra town is charming with great shops.
