I had an amazing stay at this gem of a place. The Hostal San Gines was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff were truly wonderful and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. It surpassed the 4+ rated hotels I've stayed at before. I also loved the friendly atmosphere and the lovely people I met. I can't recommend this place enough. I recently stayed at Hostal San Gines in Arrecife for a week and it was fantastic! The location is perfect, just one block from the main shopping street and a short walk to the bus station. The hotel itself is basic but clean, with a lovely terrace on the third floor where you can watch the sunrise. The hot water was always available, and the staff, especially Egle, were incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable and welcome during my stay.

the noise levels could be quite high, especially during the night. Doors were constantly banging, which made it difficult to get a peaceful sleep.
