The staff were exceptional - they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Their service really made a positive impact on my business trip. Additionally, the hotel was very clean, which is important to me when traveling. the added bonus of the towels and small gift for my child was a thoughtful gesture.

The one downside was that the room was hot and the air conditioner couldn't be turned on. Opening the windows helped with the temperature, but it made the room less quiet.

The location of this hotel is excellent, just a half block from the Opera metro station. I was able to easily access all the attractions in the city. The renovated rooms and building were also a nice touch.

They even surprised me with a handwritten postcard and a small gift to show their appreciation for my stay. I was blown away by their attention to detail and customer service.

Our recent stay at Mate was fantastic! The location was exceptional, right next to the Opera and Metro stations in a nice, safe area. The room was very large and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved that they had a yoga/exercise mat and a pod coffee machine in the room. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. They even surprised me with a happy birthday card and a piece of cake on my birthday! we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

Mate is a fantastic hotel option in Madrid. the clean rooms and bathrooms, along with the great location, make it a convenient choice. It's just a short walk to the metro station, attractions, and restaurants. the friendly English-speaking staff is always ready to assist you. the breakfast is good and tasty, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. the best part is the amazing location, with a supermarket, metro, and plenty of restaurants nearby. One of the highlights is the free wifi block provided by the helpful administrator, Joan. it's a perfect place to stay in the center of Madrid.

The hotel's central location allowed for easy access to all the main attractions in Madrid. Silvia at the front desk was incredibly helpful in securing tickets to various places. The breakfast had a good selection without being excessive, and the fact that the safe in the room was free of charge was a bonus. I also loved the personalized greeting cards and funny texts that made me feel welcome.
