loved my stay at pontevedra! staff was so friendly and helpful, even got me a gluten free breakfast. they made sure i had a new room quickly when plans changed. great location near shops and restaurants, perfect for pilgrims! virgen del camino exceeded expectations!

noisy room

We stayed at a hotel right on the Camino route and it was perfect. The location was amazing, with a great Italian restaurant just down the street where we had the best pizza outside Italy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. Plus, the hotel was in the center of town, making it easy to explore. it was a great experience.

There was one negative aspect - the communication with the staff was a bit challenging as they spoke limited English.

This hotel is a hidden gem along the Portuguese Camino route. Located just steps away from the trail, it offers convenience and ease for weary pilgrims. The clean and comfortable rooms provide a much-needed respite, with amenities such as a bathtub and a comfortable double bed. The value for money is excellent, with breakfast included in the nightly rate.

For the price we paid, Hotel Virgen Del Camino offered great value with a comfortable room and a high-quality mattress. The location was excellent, close to shops, dining options, and public transportation. The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating my dietary restrictions at breakfast and providing useful information about the area.

Great location - right on the Camino Portugues and within walking distance to the historic center. Supermarket nearby was convenient. the staff at reception were helpful, providing us with a city map and recommending a local restaurant.

Noisy room - faced a busy street and couldn't close the windows due to a faulty air conditioner. Slippery bathtub - safety concern that should be addressed.

The hotel's location was absolutely perfect, with plenty of food and drink options in the same street. the hotel's close proximity to the city center was a huge benefit on my business trip.

the windows opened to a shaft/atrium which made it feel stuffy. Lastly, the housekeeping staff made a lot of noise during their cleaning.

Our room was clean and comfortable, perfect for our stay in Pontevedra. Despite a slight stuffiness, we had a great night's sleep on the comfortable beds. The location was fantastic, right on the Camino path and only a short walk to the old town. We also appreciated the secure underground parking for our bikes. Although breakfast was not included, there are plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from. we had a pleasant stay at this basic, no-frills hotel and would recommend it for its affordability and convenience.

For the price we paid, we got really good value. The room was spacious, and our request for a quiet room on a higher floor was accommodated. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, bars, and public transportation.
