They made various attempts to ensure our stay was comfortable, including keeping the breakfast buffet open for us upon request. the room service was prompt and efficient, and the housekeeping staff were exceptional. the food quality was top-notch, with a decent spread of both western and local options. the swimming pool was a great place to relax, and the outdoor areas like the sun terrace and garden were beautifully maintained. the hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of service and comfort.

One area that could be improved at this hotel is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. While not a major issue, a bit more attention to detail in this area would.

The beds were amazingly comfortable, ensuring we had a good night's sleep. The staff, including our driver/guide Nirojam and the barman, were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The highlight of our stay was the great pool with a stunning view of the forest, which we found to be even better than some hotels in the area. The hotel is located off the beaten track, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Despite this, it is only a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride to the famous Sigiriya Rock, which the hotel arranged for us. This hotel is truly a hidden gem and we highly recommend it.
