I was warmly welcomed at Bay Dreams Beach Home with a refreshing pineapple juice, setting the tone for an enjoyable stay. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere right by the beach, while still being within walking distance of the lively village center. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and effective air conditioning. The staff paid great attention to detail, ensuring the room was well-equipped and inviting. The breakfast, lovingly prepared by a friendly assistant, was delicious and varied each day. I also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in arranging transportation and providing information about bus times. The little outdoor area with a hammock and cushioned seating was a wonderful spot to relax. Despite occasional issues with the WiFi, the overall experience was exceptional. Spent my new year holiday sharing good times with amazing people and having fun under the tropical heat. the beach was just a stone's throw away from the hotel, walking distance to some great restaurants, and the hotel staff was always ready to assist whenever we needed a taxi or surfboard rental. the breakfast was really tasty and abundant, including fresh fruits and a variety of options for both Western and Sri Lankan tastes. Can't forget the cozy seating area outside the room, perfect for relaxation after a day of surfing.

The Wi-Fi connection was not really up to the mark, a bit sluggish and inconsistent at times. the bedroom was a bit dimly lit and, while being deep in the tropical region, there were some insects present in the bathroom.

We had a fantastic stay at Bay Dreams Beach Home! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Iqbal, who made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful beach. We were even lucky enough to be upgraded to a better room free of charge! The breakfast each morning was delicious and varied, providing a great start to our day. Mr. Iqbal was a great help in explaining the bus connections to our next destination and even arranged scooter rental for us. The front patio was a lovely spot to relax, surrounded by plants and with a hammock to unwind in. We found some amazing and affordable restaurants nearby, making it convenient to enjoy local food. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Bay Dreams Beach Home for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

While the room was a bit on the dark side, it didn't really bother us as we spent most of our time outside exploring. We also encountered some insects in the bathroom, which is to be expected in tropical areas.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was truly value for money, with a location so close to the beach and all the positive aspects mentioned above.

We had an amazing Christmas experience at this hotel! the warm welcome from the staff, including a refreshing welcome drink, made us feel immediately at home. the location was perfect, just a few steps away from the beautiful beach, and within walking distance of the vibrant center of the village. We loved that the room was equipped with a powerful air-conditioning unit that provided a comfortable and cool environment. Another advantage was the delicious daily breakfast, which offered a variety of options to start our day with.
