I recently had a wonderful stay at a homestay in Colombo. The location was perfect, as it was in a quiet neighborhood yet still close to everything we wanted to go to. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly. They even offered to call us a car at a reasonable price for our airport transfer. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The homestay also had two swimming pools and sun beds for relaxing. it was a fantastic getaway.

There were some renovations going on during our stay, and it would have been better if we were informed beforehand.

I was pleasantly surprised by the unique concept of Colombo House By Ceilao Villas. The hotel is not your typical outfitted hotel, which made for an interesting and memorable stay. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and had a luxurious king-size bed. The highlight was definitely the whirlpool just outside my window, offering a truly unique experience. The fast internet and spotless room added to my overall satisfaction. The two beautiful pools and tasty food at the restaurant were also highlights of my stay. Despite a few minor issues, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The pool was a great place to relax and unwind, and the rooms were spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed, including ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. a fantastic experience.

loved the stunning 60s/modernist architecture, beautiful main stair and living area, and the double-decker pool at this former family home-turned-hotel in the embassy district. Great location near wide streets and beautiful buildings. A peaceful retreat after the chaos of Colombo.

The two swimming pools available were clean and well maintained, providing a refreshing way to cool off in the warm weather. the location of the hotel was convenient, being a short tuk-tuk ride away from most attractions. I also appreciated the extra touches, such as the installation of a bridge to improve internet coverage in the room.

The limited food options in the evening, with no advertised snack menu available. the lack of windows in some rooms may not be to everyone's liking.
