The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning, overlooking the hills. The home-cooked breakfast was excellent, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Close enough to town but far enough from the busy main road.

This amazing hotel is located just down the hill from Ella, making it convenient to walk to all the restaurants and explore the town. The spacious and beautiful rooms provide stunning views from the balcony. The friendly and accommodating staff go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast delivered to their room or balcony. the hotel is near a local factory, allowing guests to experience the local culture.

The only downside is the occasional traffic noise due to its central location.

During my recent stay at Country Homes, I was absolutely blown away by the breathtaking view from my room's balcony. It was truly a sight to behold, and I spent hours just sitting there, taking in the beauty of the surroundings. The homemade breakfast served by Dhanushka's mom was hands down the best I had in Sri Lanka. Not only was it delicious, but the warmth and kindness of the hosts made the experience even more delightful. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, just a short walk away from restaurants and bars. I felt completely safe walking back to the hotel, even in the dark. I had a fantastic stay at Country Homes and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience in Ella.

They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, which they brought to our room, allowed us to savor the incredible view from our balcony. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the town of Ella, where we found some great restaurants and bars. we had a wonderful experience at this value-for-money guesthouse.

After traveling over a month and staying in dorms, this was the perfect reset and relaxation! The staff and owner were so kind and friendly, even waiting for the bus with me on the side of the road. The hot shower had good pressure, breakfast was brought to my room, and the bed was comfy with a proper blanket. The view from the room was to die for, and it was just a short walk into town. Worth every cent!
