I recently stayed at the beautifully designed De Saram House by Geoffrey Bawa for a couple of days. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot, and the host, Priyanka Tissev, was incredibly helpful in planning our days and showing us around. The property itself is stunning, with a peaceful garden and a balcony overlooking it. The staff, including Tharaka, Suraj, and Sujith, were kind and attentive, and the authenticity of the architect's work was evident throughout the entire house. The breakfast was also delicious.

Spent my Xmas in a hidden gem. Loved the architecture and the garden was a plus. the location was perfect as everything was within a short walk and the grocery store was nearby. the staff was great and very accommodating to our requests. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely setting.

Although the staff was friendly, our drinks weren't chilled and we had to ask several times. the lack of a mini-fridge in the room was an inconvenience.

The breakfast, which I had to request a specific time for, was delicious and included gluten-free options. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, truly making it a top-notch choice for anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable stay.
