We had a wonderful stay at this amazing hotel located close to the Main Road and just a short distance from the entrance of Yala park. The hotel is surrounded by virgin nature, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The spacious room was luxurious and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with any requests. The buffet breakfast offered a wide range of options and the food was delicious. The hotel also had a beautiful pool where we could relax and enjoy the view of the surrounding nature. a fantastic experience.

We experienced some noise in the morning due to maintenance works, but it didn't significantly impact our overall stay.

The buffet had a wide selection of options, and the breakfast was so good that we didn't need lunch. We received free tea, which was a nice touch. the location was ideal for exploring the nearby national park.

The staff was dishonest about arranging an English-speaking driver for our safari and never followed up on our complaint.

The food at the buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner was absolutely amazing! The variety was outstanding and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The clean and well-designed rooms were a delight, and we were even greeted with cookies and drinks upon arrival. The spa was top-notch, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The pool was also fantastic, and the overall architecture and design of the hotel were impressive. We also appreciated the lakeside view, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located near various parks and attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The New Year's live music party was a highlight, with great entertainment, food, and reasonable prices. this hotel offered the best space per room ratio in Sri Lanka and was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip.

There were a few minor issues. We found a lizard in our room, but the staff promptly took care of it.

The hotel itself, Doubletree By Hilton, is absolutely beautiful. From the tranquil setting to the incredible pool, it is a simple yet stunning structure. the views are also breathtaking, as it borders the Weerawila lake. the staff at the hotel are incredibly helpful and polite, from the security to the reception, room service, and F&B staff. Not to mention, the food is delicious with a diverse range of choices including Sri Lankan, Indian, and western cuisine. the entire experience was made even more wonderful by the comfortable facilities and the attentive attitude of the staff. No request was too big for them, and their professionalism truly made our stay memorable. We only wish we had more time to spend at this amazing property.

As young people, we loved the vibrant ambiance and the stunning natural surroundings. The grounds were absolutely wonderful, with a huge garden filled with lush greenery and trees. It was a refreshing escape into nature. The hotel also offered plenty of public spaces and sitting areas to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, treating us with cookies and drinks upon arrival. The rooms were clean and beautifully designed, and we especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony, taking in the breathtaking view. The pool was also a highlight, providing a perfect spot to cool off and relax. the facilities and amenities exceeded our expectations, making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

Felt like our own home, nothing to complain about.

The exclusive amenities at this luxury hotel were beyond my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were fantastic and welcoming. the swimming pool was a standout feature featuring sun loungers and a stunning garden area surrounding it. the Spa Centre was outstanding, with a Jacuzzi to die for, and the massage was fantastic. In-room breakfast was delicious and delivered promptly.

My only minor issue was with the packed lunch. Though the special diet menu was quite impressive, the packed lunch felt a bit limited, considering the overall luxurious atmosphere of the hotel.
