We had a wonderful romantic getaway at this brand new hotel. The location was perfect, just a short drive away from the national park, making it easy for us to go on a safari. The staff were extremely helpful and arranged a safari for us. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed spending our afternoons relaxing by the poolside. Another advantage was that the hotel allowed us to have a late checkout and enjoy a delicious lunch instead of breakfast.

There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. The cleanliness of the pool could have been better, and there were some bugs around the hotel, although this is expected in Sri Lanka.

Ele Camp was a warm and beautiful experience. The brand new complex was built with style and thought. The friendly staff, led by Indika, made sure I was happy without being intrusive. They even took me to a temple ceremony, which was a very nice experience. The location was lovely, surrounded by trees, and the pool was a good size. The hotel also organized a great safari trip, which was a highlight of my stay.

Nothing that I didn't like.

We had a fantastic stay at this newish hotel set in lush jungle gardens. The comfortable beds, good air conditioning, and hot showers made our stay very enjoyable. The nice pool was a great spot to relax, and the included breakfast was a bonus. The hotel also organized a safari for us, which was a bit pricey but absolutely worth it. Our driver took us to all the right spots, and we got close encounters with elephants, crocodiles, and more. We also visited the Elephant Transit Home, which was a steal at rs500 per person. a perfect stop for a safari.

Felt completely relaxed, no complaints.
