Great location by the beach, perfect for visiting Pigeon Island. Fernando's restaurant nearby is also fantastic. Trincomalee is a peaceful place to stay. Recommended!

Great beachfront location with beautiful views. The owners were friendly and accommodating, helping us with currency exchange and arranging transportation. The onsite beach restaurant served delicious food without long waits. Free sunbeds on the beach were a nice touch.

I had a fantastic stay at a beachfront cottage in Uppuveli. the location was unbeatable, right on the beautiful beach. the staff, especially Raj, were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I highly recommend Golden Beach for its excellent service and convenient access to nearby restaurants and transportation options. I only stayed for three nights, but I wish I could have stayed longer. the shaded sun beds were a nice touch, allowing me to relax and enjoy the stunning beach views.

No negatives to mention. 👍

Beachfront location, dinner on the sand, onsite dive/whale watching center, plenty of beach chairs, and shades. Owners selling beer in teapots with china mugs, creating a talking point. Extensive and good food. Happening place with fun lighting and music. Walk to town, fort, and temples. Fantastic deserted beach worth the effort.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a beachside hotel that exceeded my expectations. The hotel's attention to detail was outstanding, from the clean and spacious rooms with breathtaking ocean views, to the friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The location of this hotel was simply perfect - right on the beach, allowing me to enjoy the sound of the waves and stunning sunsets. To top it off, the breakfast provided was delicious and filled me up for the day ahead.

There was not a single thing that I could fault during my stay. Everything was simply perfect.
