I recently stayed at a charming hotel in the hills, overlooking a bustling city below. The location was just perfect - far enough to enjoy peace and quiet, yet close enough to easily explore all the sights and activities. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered a breathtaking view from the balcony. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing us with fresh juice upon arrival and even wrapping up some delicious homemade rotis for our journey. The attention to detail and genuine kindness shown by the staff made our stay even more memorable.

Located in a quiet and nice neighborhood, Hanthana House offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff is extremely helpful, going out of their way to assist with transportation to various sights in-and-out of the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with amenities such as AC, fans, and mozzie nets. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a mix of Western and Sri Lankan items. The house also boasts a scenic outlook, allowing for a picturesque view from the rooms.

Spent the most memorable New Year’s celebration at a cozy home stay in Sri Lanka. the owners' hospitality was top-notch, making me feel at home with their warm and friendly welcome. the local dinners served were fresh and mouth-watering; enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan fare, especially the vegetable dishes. the location was peaceful and scenic, surrounded by lush greenery and offered easy access to explore nearby attractions. the immaculate room had all the necessities with a spacious bathroom and comfortable bedding which gave me a good night’s rest.

There were no cons to my experience at this hotel. I had a fantastic stay from beginning to end, and it exceeded my expectations.

I had an amazing stay at this green get-away. The rooms were beautiful, and I loved the giant balcony for my morning yoga practice. The host was incredibly accommodating and helped me with everything from securing train tickets to arranging drivers. The location, although up a steep hill, offered a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and clean stay.
