The superior room was mind-blowingly nice, much better than the budget room! The staff was super friendly, the food was jaw-droppingly tasty, and the free tea was a really nice touch of hospitality. The location was perfect for visiting Horton Plains National Park and there were plenty of other great walks nearby. The staff even helped us arrange reliable Tuk Tuk drivers, making getting around a breeze. Plus, being away from the hustle and bustle was incredibly relaxing, surrounded by beautiful tea farms. We could've spent a week hiking and enjoying the stunning views.

The economy double room was poorly located and noisy, with a small window facing the car park. The dining area could only accommodate 14 guests, resulting in long waits for a table when the hotel was full.

The hotel is located in a remote area with stunning views of the valley and surrounding tea plantations. It is only a 30-minute tuk-tuk ride to Horton Plains/World's End, and the owner helps with organizing transportation. The hotel offers excellent WiFi and has neat hiking trails through the tea plantations. The second-floor balcony room offers the best view, but the first-floor rooms and new units are also nice. The hotel organizes group hikes to Horton Plains, providing a chance to meet people from all over. The dinner, with traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, is good.

The breakfast provided for the hike was not good, so it's advisable to bring snacks. The bathroom is not well-maintained, and there were some issues with broken items, like a towel rack falling off the wall.
