I had an exceptional stay at Hotel 198. The room was clean and had all the essential facilities I needed. The hotel had good hygiene and safety measures in place, which made me feel confident in their cleanliness. The location was great, with a beautiful beach just across the road and plenty of good restaurants nearby. The breakfast served on the rooftop was huge and delicious, with a mix of Western and Sri Lankan dishes. Despite arriving late at night, the staff was waiting at the front desk and the check-in process was smooth. I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

There were a few minor drawbacks during my stay. The shower only had cool water and couldn't get hotter than lukewarm, and the hotel only accepted cash for payment.

This hotel was a great value with a lot of positive aspects. the room was clean with comfortable bedding and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel was located in a key location within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping centers, and the beach. Lastly, the hotel offered an on-site restaurant with delicious meals at an affordable price.

There were a few negative aspects that affected my experience. the room was quite small and lacked some essential amenities.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Big luxurious room with great decor and comfy bed. Friendly and supportive staff. Delicious breakfasts. Convenient location near the beach and good restaurants. Good TV channels and working A/C. Great value for the price.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly and supportive, even arranging an early check-in for me. The breakfast was delicious and the service was top-notch. I especially loved the stylish decor of the room and the breathtaking view from the balcony. It was truly a wonderful experience.

The parking area was not very secure.
