This hotel ticks all the boxes for a great stay. its location is perfect for those wanting to explore Udawalawe National Park, with easy access to the park entrance. Secondly, the staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Lastly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of a balcony offering a nice view. With breakfast included, this hotel offers great value for money.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the refreshing pool and its clean surroundings. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was a stone's throw away from a popular attraction, making it convenient for tourists. the spacious and clean rooms provided a comfortable stay, which we appreciated.

This made it difficult to occupy ourselves during the downtime. We hope the hotel can invest in more amenities and improve the quality of its food to enhance guests' experience.

Great experience at Athgira! We had a fantastic time exploring the nearby elephant sanctuary. The location couldn't be better as it was just across the street. The owner was incredibly helpful and even organized a discounted taxi van for our next destination. The large bedrooms were comfortable and the beds were huge. Although the shower was weak, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Athgira for its great location and accommodating host.

There is limited privacy in the ground floor rooms as there are no curtains, allowing anyone at the swimming pool to see inside.
