We had a comfortable and relaxing stay at Hotel East Lagoon. The convenient location allowed us to easily explore Batticaloa town and Pasikudah beach. The hotel's architecture and scenic surroundings were truly breathtaking. The bed in our room was comfy and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The restaurant served delicious food, although the buffet breakfast could have had more variety. we were satisfied with our stay and would recommend this hotel.

I had an incredible experience staying at a hotel located just across the lagoon from a popular bar and with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and excellent service from the friendly staff. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious options, including string hoppers and toast, accompanied by fresh fruit juice. The hotel also organized an amazing boat ride, allowing me to explore the lagoon and enjoy breathtaking views.

This hotel really impressed me with its attention to detail. The rooms were not only spacious and comfortable but also well-equipped with all the necessary furniture, including a fridge. I also loved the view from my room, overlooking the lagoon. The location of the hotel was great; it was just a short walk away from the main city area.

The views from the hotel were definitely the highlight of my city trip. I also appreciated the spacious rooms and the equipped facilities. Another advantage was the delicious food, worth paying a little extra for.

The menu options were not worth the high prices, and there was no explanation given until the last moment. I feel like the hotel did not live up to its potential and I would not recommend it to others.

stayed here before, much better now. nice location, large rooms, "real" shower in bathroom. lovely view of the lagoon, though weak air conditioning. comfy bed. excellent service.

The views from the balconies were absolutely stunning, offering amazing scenery on both sides. the location of the hotel was also great, with nearby attractions such as a bridge and a beach just minutes away.

The vibe at the hotel felt awkward, with piles of dirty dishes left outside my room and unnecessary staff running around. the air conditioning in the rooms was not well functioning, making the rooms feel uncomfortably warm.

The value for money was great, with comfortable beds, a beautiful lagoon view from the spacious rooms, and delicious food. The staff at East Lagoon were friendly, helpful, and even arranged a van for our next destination.

The breakfast experience could be improved with better consistency and attention to detail.
