Friendly staff, delicious meals, well-maintained garden. Safari well-planned, entry fee not included, but informed upfront. Courteous service, lots of laughter. Attentive manager, late arrival accommodated, comfortable rooms with mosquito repellants. Convenient location from Udawalawe National Park. Nice pool for a half-day stay, beautiful surroundings with abundant birdlife.

Located in the outskirts of a small village, this quiet and relaxing hideaway is the perfect base for a safari in nearby Udawalawe national park. The spacious rooms offer comfortable beds and the staff provide excellent service. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and take advantage of recreational facilities such as ping pong and a swimming pool.

There have been reports of bugs being present throughout the hotel, which may be a concern for some guests.

This hotel is located in a very rural area, making it the perfect peaceful retreat. The rooms are comfortable with amazing views of the mountains from the shower. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room also had a cool terrace with adjoining outside space. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast included was a great value for money.

No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

Beautiful grounds and well-maintained facilities. the pool was a great place to relax, and the breakfast spread was extensive with fresh fruit, eggs, and pastries. the hotel's location provided easy access to nearby attractions and landmarks.

The constant presence of insects and bugs made the stay uncomfortable at times. the lack of communication regarding hotel amenities left us feeling unclear about what was available to us.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The hotel grounds and pool were beautifully maintained, making for a picturesque setting. We enjoyed taking long walks around the lush gardens and admiring the lily ponds. The location of the hotel, right by the river, offered a tranquil atmosphere and was a haven for birdwatchers. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the nearby national park allowed us to easily go on a safari and experience the incredible wildlife of the area.
