I absolutely loved the chilled vibe and welcoming atmosphere at Laughing Leopard. The staff were really nice and helpful, making me feel right at home. The hostel had a great social crowd, perfect for a budget traveler like me. The common spaces were spacious and filled with quirky wall art. The breakfast and home-cooked Sri Lankan dinners were wholesome and delicious. the facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. And let's not forget the trio of hyperactive dogs, they added an extra level of charm to the place!

I felt totally at home during my stay at Laughing Leopard. No complaints whatsoever!

I had an amazing time staying at this hostel. The staff, Ashwin and Sanjay, were incredibly friendly, funny, and always available to help out. They made me feel welcome and were great to hang out with. The dorm rooms were clean and comfortable, with cozy fleece covers for the cold nights. The bathrooms were also clean and had hot showers, which was a huge plus. The hostel had good WiFi, allowing me to catch up with life and stay connected. The social vibe at the hostel was lovely, especially during the evening dinners where I got to meet and interact with fellow travelers. The staff was very helpful and even booked tuk-tuks for me when needed. I also appreciated the access to the fridge and kettle, as well as free drinking water. this hostel provided a great experience with its friendly staff, clean facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

I recently stayed at Laughing Leopard in Nuwara Eliya for a few nights. The hostel had a friendly owner and delightful breakfast. The vibrant colors and charming garden created a lovely atmosphere. The night activities, like card games and barbecues, provided a great opportunity to meet new people. Additionally, the presence of two adorable dogs made my stay even more enjoyable. This is definitely the perfect place for party people.

I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time at the Laughing Leopard! The staff were incredibly helpful and made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast and lunch they cooked were delicious, and the smaller rooms were very comfortable. The shower was one of the best we experienced during our trip to Sri Lanka. The hostel had a great social vibe, perfect for meeting other travelers. Plus, having a tattoo parlour attached was a unique and exciting bonus. We loved our stay and will definitely choose to stay at the Laughing Leopard again when we return to Sri Lanka.

We had an amazing stay at the Laughing Leopard. The owners were cool, the atmosphere was chill, and the three dogs were a bonus. The nightly parties with the owner as DJ and live music were incredible. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions. The spacious rooms had comfy beds and the hot showers were a delight. The hostel's quirky wall art and large common spaces added to its charm. The standout features were the chilled vibe, the diverse travelers, and the delicious breakfasts and Sri Lankan dinners.
