The owner, Pryantha, is incredibly kind and welcoming. He greeted us with a hot cup of tea upon arrival and served us a delicious breakfast in our room each morning. He even offered to make us dinner and provided great recommendations for places to visit. The location is just a short walk from the town center and perfect for exploring Sri Lanka's highest village. The room is beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and the rainfall shower is amazing.

I recently stayed at a cozy cottage in Nuwara Eliya and had an amazing experience. The owner of the cottage was truly exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We were delighted to find a small fireplace in our room, which kept us warm and comfortable throughout the chilly nights. The room itself was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the best hot shower we've ever had. On top of that, the owner prepared a delicious Sri Lankan dinner for us, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this beautiful and welcoming cottage for a pleasant and unforgettable stay.

lily bank cottage was a hidden gem in nuwara eliya, surpassing our previous stay. the caring host, delicious meals, and spacious rooms with a private garden made us feel right at home. highly recommend this relaxing and cozy retreat.
