I recently stayed at a charming residence in Kandy and had a wonderful experience. The staff, particularly Ilianka, who checked us in, were incredibly helpful and informative. The residence itself has a traditional design with a lovely wooden staircase. The room was spacious and had a balcony shaded by trees and hanging vines, which was a delightful touch. Although the bed was a bit softer than I prefer, the bathroom was well-equipped and came with toiletries. I also appreciated the coffee/tea corner in the room. Breakfast was served on a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the lake, and the breakfast spread was simple, delicious, and generous. The service staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay. On top of all this, when we encountered issues with the credit card machine during check-out, Ilianka remained patient and even offered us a gift of Ceylon tea to take with us. This family-run hotel truly made us feel welcome and taken care of.

During our recent stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Lotus Lake Residence. The location was excellent, with easy access to the town, temple, and lake. We particularly enjoyed the breathtaking views of Kandy from the breakfast area on the roof. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a great shower and all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. we had a fantastic experience at Lotus Lake Residence and would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Kandy.

I recently stayed at a new, clean hotel just a short 5-minute walk from the city. The hotel owners and staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent hospitality throughout my stay. They even helped me with train ticket reservations and arranging private transportation. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the rooms were modern and comfortable. I also enjoyed using the pool at the adjacent hotel in the evenings. The WiFi was also excellent. I had an awesome experience and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, especially families. Don't miss out on this great hotel!
