We ended up staying for 5 nights. The family is super welcoming! The lady that owns the place is one of the friendliest people we met. We had a great breakfast with the family every morning, a true local experience. They will make you feel at home and help you with anything you need. Location is great just a short walk to the beach. The room was clean, new, and had beautiful furniture, with large windows that let in a refreshing breeze. The location was convenient, with a grocery store just a minute away and the beach across the street. But what really stood out was the kindness and care of the owner family, especially Shiromie - they made us feel like their own children and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Mum&Dad House in Dickwella. As a family, we were warmly welcomed by the host, Shiromi, who took the time to chat with us and make us feel at home. The comfortable bed with a good mosquito net ensured a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the delicious breakfast consisting of potato curry, fruit, egg, toast. The well-designed rooms and clean bathrooms added to the overall positive experience. The location, just across from the underrated Dickwella beach, was convenient with various establishments within walking distance. Much love to the hosts!
