I had an incredible stay at a guest house in Hikkaduwa. The host, Sean, was extremely helpful and made our holiday in Sri Lanka even better. The guest house was clean and felt homely, and the room was spacious and bright. We loved the fact that we could use the kitchen to make our own meals when needed. The highlight of our stay was exploring Hikkaduwa, where we saw giant turtles just a short walk down the beach. We also visited the turtle sanctuary and released baby turtles into the sea, which was such a memorable experience. The Tsunami museum nearby was also a moving and humbling visit. a lovely few days in Hikkaduwa and a wonderful stay at the guest house.
