Charming hotel with a flawless restaurant and a sunny terrace. I also loved the fact they had a garden, so I could go for a walk and pretend I was at Downton Abbey.

Oh, the horror of having to park my car for free! Such a terrible inconvenience, not having to pay for parking like at other fancy resorts!

We had an incredible experience at the villa resort! The owners were so friendly and helpful, giving us detailed directions to our next destination. They even organized a fantastic safari for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Despite arriving late, they still offered us a delicious dinner. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast they served was mouthwatering. Additionally, the room was impeccably clean, and we couldn't believe the fantastic value for money.

We got great value for our money with a lovely double room and a balcony overlooking the jungle. The owners at Peacock Villa Resort were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel welcomed and well-served throughout our stay. The home-cooked meals, especially dinner, were full of flavor and beat any other Sri Lankan dishes we had during our trip. We were pleasantly surprised by the strong internet connection, an unexpected bonus. The location was perfect, just a few minutes away from the national park entrance, and we even spotted monkeys from our balcony upon arrival.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with more variety or options.

The hosts are wonderfully welcoming and go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. Delicious meals are prepared, with special attention given to dietary needs. The terrace provides a lovely view, ideal for relaxing and taking in the surroundings. The resort also arranges pick-up and drop-off for the safari, ensuring a hassle-free adventure.

The bed could be more comfortable.

I stayed at Peacock Villa for a short trip to Udawalawe. The owners of the hotel were incredibly kind and generous. They welcomed me with free tea and water, and even organized a delicious dinner that felt like a grand feast. The food was fantastic, with a wide variety of curries, salads, and desserts. The room was modern, clean, and had a spacious terrace where I could relax and observe monkeys in the trees. The wifi was excellent, and the owners also had a little store with affordable snacks. Peacock Villa provided an amazing experience with friendly staff, delicious food, and great prices.
