During my stay at Sigiri Choona Lodge, I had an amazing experience at their unique sunrise viewpoint. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us, even bringing us dinner at a reasonable price despite our late arrival. They also turned on the generator during a power cut just for us. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lodge had a large garden that guests were free to explore. The highlight was climbing the huge rock behind the lodge before sunrise, where I had a breathtaking view of Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks. I was surrounded by nature, including peacocks, mongooses, sparrows, monkeys, and various birds. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

The owners of the lodge were extremely kind and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The lodge's proximity to the entrance of Lions Rock was very convenient for us to explore the site easily. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable and cool environment. the beautiful rock behind the lodge offered a stunning viewpoint to watch both the sunrise and sunset, adding to the overall experience.

Finding nearby restaurants or food options was a challenge, so we ended up eating dinner at the lodge every night, which was quite expensive compared to other places. The meals, although tasty, lacked variety, with dishes tasting similar regardless of what was ordered.
