The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay very enjoyable. They offered a refreshing drink upon arrival and provided helpful travel tips throughout my stay. The owner even sat with me in the evening, offering a beer and engaging in interesting conversation. the hotel's location was convenient, with buses passing right by, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. The comfortable beds, good shower pressure, and reliable Wi-Fi were also a plus.

The sun loungers around the pool were quite uncomfortable. dinner options were not immediately offered, but this may have been to avoid pressuring guests.

I had a wonderful stay at Sun And Green Eco Lodge. The lodge is clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The outside terrace was a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and relax with a refreshing drink in the afternoon. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning was a great relief after a long day of sightseeing. The location was ideal for visiting Polonnurawa, Sigiriya, and the Dambulla Cave Temples, with a bus stop right outside the lodge. Neil and his family were lovely hosts, going above and beyond to help with any plans and providing great recommendations. I highly recommend this lodge for a memorable stay.

The bathroom could use some improvement, with the drain in the wrong position causing the floor to become flooded after showers. Additionally, the climate in the bedroom and bathroom felt moldy, leading to a slight unpleasant smell.

The location of the hotel is convenient as it is near the bus stop, making it easy to travel around. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to assist guests with their needs. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing guests with a comfortable stay. The pool area is a great addition, allowing guests to relax and cool off after a long day of exploring. the hotel offers delicious meals, including vegan options, ensuring that guests are well taken care of.
