We got great value for our money at Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The location was convenient, close to the main town yet peaceful by the lake. The staff treated us with incredible kindness and even drove us around in a tuk tuk, organizing tours and helping us save money on transportation.

The breakfast could have been better with more variety.

For the price we paid, we got amazing value at Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest. The room was clean, comfortable, and had good AC and shower facilities. The location by the lake was beautiful, with birdsong in the mornings and evenings. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They provided bikes for us to explore the ancient city and even gave us a map and showed us the best routes. They also drove us to the bus station for free and even rushed back to give us our forgotten shirts. This has been the best stay we've had in Sri Lanka so far.

I had a fantastic stay at a guesthouse near the bus station. The friendly host arranged a tuk-tuk driver to guide me through the temple ruins. The room was spotless with a comfortable bed and the location was convenient. I highly recommend this place.

Clean, spacious rooms with good bed, aircon, and fan. Nice bathroom with hot shower. Bicycles and a tuk-tuk available for rent. Helpful and friendly host. Great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at this exceptional guesthouse! The hosts were incredibly caring and went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. One of the highlights was being able to witness a spectacular display of birds just 25 meters away from the guesthouse during sunset. We even discovered two new spices while exploring the surroundings. we highly recommend this place for its central yet peaceful location and the warm hospitality of the hosts.

We stayed at a homestay next to a beautiful lake, where hundreds of birds come to sleep. After exploring the temples and Buddhist places, we found it to be the perfect moment of relaxation. the host at Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest was very helpful and arranged everything for us. the room was spotless with a comfortable bed and all amenities. It was also conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the new railway and bus station.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the helpful owner who arranged a tuktuk-driver for us to explore the temples. The hotel's location next to a lake offered a lovely ambiance with lots of birds in the evenings. The owner also assisted us with transportation to a restaurant and the bus station, which was very kind.

Felt so relaxed, no complaints.
