The communal sitting areas at Surasa Beach Resort were kept impeccably clean and the sofas were incredibly comfortable. The location, right on the beachfront across from the fish and seafood restaurants, was fantastic. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Surasa Beach Resort in Weligama was a fantastic stay! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with the added perk of hot water. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, even organizing a whale watching tour for us. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the surf spot and with a great breakfast stand nearby. we highly recommend Surasa Beach Resort!

Amazing host, always helpful and gave great tips. Common area perfect for meeting other travelers. Close to local restaurants and a short walk to the surfing point. Great location, 30 meters from the beach. Clean rooms with good AC. Plenty of places to relax in the evenings. Well-maintained, directly on the beach. Short walks to surfing spots, supermarket, restaurants, and bus station. Comfortable, with unbeatable view. Suranga, the host, was welcoming and proactive, providing a true Sri Lankan experience. highly recommended.
