our recent stay in hikkaduwa was amazing but our stay at this motel was even better. the staff went above and beyond to make our holiday perfect, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. the location was also very convenient, with the beach just a short walk away.

Bathroom could use improvement.

I recently stayed at a wonderful motel in Hikkaduwa and had a fantastic experience. The owner and her daughter were incredible hosts and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our visit. Despite the motel's close proximity to the train tracks, it did not bother us as we didn't spend much time in our room. The location was perfect, as it was just a short walk to the beach and a variety of restaurants. Additionally, the room had air conditioning, which was a big plus. it was great value for money and I highly recommend staying at Tamara Motels.
