I had a wonderful stay at Tamarind Hill By Asia Leisure. The hotel exudes old colonial charm, transporting you to a bygone era. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I loved the blend of Dutch and British heritage throughout the property. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff going above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the towel sculptures left on my turned-down bed each night, a delightful touch. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the limited dinner menu and the absence of information on the history of the place, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this beautiful hotel. I highly recommend Tamarind Hill By Asia Leisure for a unique and charming experience.

Historical boutique property with limited rooms. Excellent food with multiple dining options. Helpful staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere. A truly memorable stay. Will definitely return!

I had an amazing stay at a boutique hotel in Galle. The location was a little away from the fort, but it added to the charm. The hotel was in an old Dutch palace, filled with history. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with private terraces overlooking a beautiful garden. The staff were extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options. The pool area was serene and surrounded by lush greenery.

That the approach to the hotel was a bit bumpy due to a dirt track off the main road.

We recently enjoyed a romantic escape at this hotel. the architecture and decoration of the hotel were stunning and created a romantic atmosphere. the food was delicious, particularly the Sri Lankan dishes that were offered. the location was perfect for us. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but still had easy access to the main attractions via tuk-tuk.

The bedding could have been more comfortable, and we found the bathroom to be a bit small and tight. However, these were very minor issues and did not negatively impact our overall experience.

This hotel was a luxurious and exclusive experience. From the private facilities, to the outdoor dining area, everything was top-notch. the staff provided exceptional service, fulfilling all of our needs. the restaurant had an incredible menu, with options for all taste buds, and the bar/lounge area was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink.

The only minor issue we experienced was with the location. It was a little further from the main attractions than we had anticipated, but the hotel provided shuttle services which helped to alleviate this.

I got great value for my money at Tamarind Hill! The room was beautiful, with an old-world feel and plenty of space. The location was perfect, just a short tuc tuc ride away from the main attractions. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay.

Breakfast delights could be improved by speeding up the service.

Spacious rooms with attached backyard. Gorgeous courtyard and pool overlooking a plantation. Well-maintained colonial manor with limited guests. Peaceful ambiance with peacocks roaming.

Aspect: Absolutely nothing.
