The database provided all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay, from a fully stocked kitchen to a cozy living room. the room had an excellent view of the city skyline, making it perfect for relaxation after a long day of sightseeing.

The only slight downside was that the WiFi connection in the database was a bit slow at times, which made it a bit tricky to work remotely.

One of the best aspects was the location, which was very close to the Kataragama temple and offered a nice view of the nearby lake. Another great feature was the easy access to safari tours to Yala National Park, which was a memorable experience.

The towels had an unpleasant odor, which was a bit of a turn-off. However, we requested an extra set of towels and they also had the same odor.

During my recent stay at Grand Tamarind Lake, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and well-designed rooms. The views of the Detagamuwa Lake and the surrounding gardens were simply breathtaking. Despite the dry climate, the air conditioning in the rooms kept me cool and comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel staff, including the Head Chef Samarakoon and the F&B Manager Mr. Gerad, went above and beyond to ensure that I had a delightful dining experience with a tantalizing spread of cuisine. They even accommodated my 1 1/2-year-old daughter's food requirements by preparing special dishes for her.
