we had an incredible time at taru villas the long house. it felt like staying in a billionaire friend's mansion. the staff treated us like royalty, from the personalized service to the luxurious amenities. the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a large balcony. the beach access was convenient, and the pool and gardens were immaculate. the delicious breakfast and attentive staff made our experience truly exceptional.

I keep returning for the friendly staff's shopping tips on my first visit. the place suits me perfectly with its many amenities like Wi-Fi, pool, and fitness center. I'm coming back for another great stay soon.

Met leopards and delightful staff! Acclaimed cuisine and some immediate drawbacks—definitely returning.

The rooms were super spacious with comfy beds and the staff were really attentive and helpful which was lovely. the food was top-notch, especially the dinners included in the half-board package. the property is right on the beachfront and chilling out by the pool and grabbing a sun lounger was just what we needed to unwind 😊. the only downside was that after a week, the food got a bit repetitive and more variety in the Sri Lankan dishes would've been awesome.

I selected this hotel for a business symposium due to its chic design in Colombo, offering convenient access to cultural, religious, historic attractions, restaurants, and the business district. The location was ideal for exploring key areas from the Central Business District to Galle Face Green. Cons: I missed having a cocktail service for work engagements.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! the large and cozy rooms, friendly and attentive staff, and amazing half-board dinner were all top-notch. the best part was the location, which was right on the beach and a quick drive away from the city center. the hotel was also very accommodating in helping us book transportation to and from the airport.

The playroom was not very interesting or engaging, especially for our young child. It would have been nice to have more toys and activities available to keep him entertained.

Luxurious amenities, top-class service and beautiful location make this hotel the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. the outdoor swimming pool is perfect for a refreshing dip, while the sun terrace and sun loungers offer a front-row seat to stunning beach views. the beach access is a major plus and the BBQ facilities and packed lunch menu make it easy to spend a leisurely day outdoors. the restaurant's special diet menus also cater to individual needs, offering a truly exclusive experience.

While everything was perfect at this hotel, one minor issue we experienced was the lack of a menu for meals. the fixed price for dinner gave us the freedom to order anything from the kitchen which, judging from our breakfast experience, was of a high class.
