I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Negombo. the setting is beautiful, with extremely comfortable rooms and great bathrooms. the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, making sure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. the food was fabulous, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had on my travels. the team, including Lahiru, Kumara, Yasith, and Upul, really went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. the outdoor dining area was a lovely spot to enjoy meals, and the pool area was a great place to relax.

One thing that could be improved at the hotel is the transparency in billing. Make sure to double-check your bill in LKR before check-out to avoid any surprises.

The decorations at the hotel were simply exquisite, reminiscent of a royal palace with beautiful ornate details and elegant furnishings. the common areas were spacious and easy to navigate, perfect for seniors to move around comfortably. the location near the airport made it very convenient for us, ensuring a smooth and stress-free arrival and departure.

I would have appreciated more assistance for senior guests from the young staff, particularly in terms of guidance and support with activities and amenities around the property.

Isolated location, rough road.

Arriving at midnight, we were warmly welcomed by a dedicated team offering traditional refreshments and exceptional hospitality. the location, just a short distance from the airport, was ideal, and the staff, including Lahiru, Upul. the personalized service, stunning property, delicious food, and convenient proximity to the airport made our stay unforgettable. Uga Riva stands out as one of the best hotels I've ever experienced, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Negombo.

The warmest welcome I've ever had at any hotel - the staff truly made us feel like family right from the start. Absolutely loved the chill vibes at the gorgeous pool area surrounded by lush greenery and comfy sun loungers, perfect for soaking up the sun. Only downer was the bumpy ride to get there in the dark after the rain, but once we arrived, the magic of the place erased any doubts - like stepping into a tiny tropical paradise! 🌴.

Stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the luxurious room amenities and exclusive outdoor facilities such as the swimming pool, sun loungers, and BBQ area. the staff were polite and accommodating, providing great service during our meals at the restaurant and picnic area.

Only negative aspect was the hotel's invoicing process, where they charged in LKR instead of US Dollars with a non-official exchange rate. they were willing to resolve the issue upon checking out.

During our Christmas holiday stay at a villa, we enjoyed the comfortable rooms, which included a premium suite. the food at the onsite restaurant was tasty, and the staff was very polite and welcoming. We also appreciated the convenient location of the villa, which made it easy to explore the local area and take part in nearby activities.
