I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The host was incredibly charming and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. He greeted me with a refreshing juice in the beautiful garden. The room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and a good fan. I even had hot water in the bathroom! The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, with high-quality furniture and beautiful drawings on the walls. The highlight for me was the delicious dinners in the garden, lit up by candles and lanterns. The homemade food was absolutely perfect, and the service was always excellent. The host spoke fluent English and went above and beyond to help me plan my tours and visits. He was also happy to answer all my questions and offer assistance for the rest of my journey. The location was great, away from the noise of the street but still convenient. The hotel had expansion plans, which showed the owner's passion and dedication. I had the best night's sleep and the wifi connection was flawless. This hotel truly felt like a slice of paradise. I highly recommend it for couples, friends, or families!

The atmosphere of the place was lovely, with rooms and eating areas arranged around a beautiful garden filled with plants and lit by hanging lamps at night. Despite a few minor drawbacks like low room ceilings and the need for better bathroom ventilation, our overall experience at this budget stay was wonderful. The Courtyard Villa Sigiriya offers great value for money. The prices are affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and the beautiful location. Nestled by the jungle, this hotel provides a serene atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation. The helpful staff goes above and beyond in providing advice on nearby sights and attractions. The rooms, complete with AC, beautiful washrooms, and fresh towels, are well-maintained and comfortable. Additionally, the hotel provides a delicious breakfast to start the day.

All in all, this hotel exceeded expectations with no room for improvement.

The location of this villa was perfect for exploring some of the main attractions in the area, such as Dambulla, Lions Rock, and Polluwara. the host, Ranil, was incredibly helpful and arranged transportation for all of our excursions at a reasonable price. the cleanliness of our room was top, notch, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Another standout aspect was the delicious food , we enjoyed all our meals at the villa.

One downside was that the villa was a bit tricky to find. the government regulations prevented the owner from putting up a sign, so it's important to follow the directions provided or contact the host for guidance.
