There isn't much to do in the immediate area, so it's not ideal for stays longer than one or two nights. there were some loud and entitled patrons in the outside bar during my stay, which was somewhat disruptive.

The service provided by the exceedingly friendly staff was phenomenal, making me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable in this venue.

One minor issue was the distance from major attractions, with the hotel being quite isolated from the city. However, this was resolved by the hotel's location advantages, as it was only a short taxi ride from the airport, and the village 15 minutes walk away offered a glimpse of the local culture.

I recently stayed at Covanro Airport Hotel in Katunayake for a quick stopover. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a desk and a small sitting area. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the pond, perfect for relaxing at night. Everything was impeccably clean, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant and Café Engine was delicious, and I also enjoyed the convenience of being close to Veyangoda station for my train ride to Jaffna. I have had multiple pleasant stays at this hotel and will definitely return.
