I had a great start to my trip at The Hideout! The hosts Upali and Sujatha treated me like family and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The location and setting of the property were ideal, and I was lucky to experience the New Year celebrations with the welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the middle of farmland. The location was lovely, with beautiful views of the surrounding rice fields and a refreshing breeze from the upstairs dining area. The hotel was in a quiet area, but still a short tuktuk ride away from the famous rock and the village. The owners, a friendly older couple, were always available and helpful in arranging transportation and providing suggestions on local attractions. The staff were attentive and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the great pool and the peaceful atmosphere.

We stayed at the Hideout Sigiriya for four nights and it was a fantastic experience. The treehouse provided stunning views of the sunrise and Sigiriya Rock, a truly unique feature. The pool was lovely, with charming elephant showers that added a special touch. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, helping us arrange transportation and providing excellent service. The food was delicious, especially the English breakfast, and the spacious and comfortable rooms made our stay even more enjoyable. We were sad to leave this hidden gem nestled in the rice fields.
