The Kandy House is a true gem nestled in magnificent gardens that transport you deep into the lush forests of Sri Lanka. The rooms, like the Indian Admiral, are spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. The friendly staff and outstanding service ensure that every detail is taken care of, making you feel truly pampered. The delicious food served here is a delight for the taste buds, and the beautiful pool and gardens provide a tranquil escape. It's the perfect location to explore local restaurants in the center of town or relax in the rear garden surrounded by jungle.

It is disappointing that there are no TVs in the rooms.

Every exquisite detail from the garden area to the majestic outdoor swimming pool left us in awe. the restaurant had an exceptional menu, offering delicious meals with packed lunches made-to-order.

There was only one minor issue, the location is slightly far from town and required a long drive for us. the sensational service, the wonderful Spa & wellness centre with massages such as foot and head massages, and the comfortable sun loungers made it well worth the journey.

The hotel had a nice colonial-themed style with comfortable beds and separate bath and shower. The location was peaceful, away from the city center but a short drive away. The swimming pool was great for relaxing after a day of exploring.

The service was not up to par. The staff was not very attentive and didn't seem eager to assist with our needs. The food was average and lacked variety, there were only a few options to choose from. although the hotel had nice amenities, the lack of good service and food selection made it a bit disappointing.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Kandy House. The moment I arrived, I was greeted with a refreshing passion-fruit and lime juice. They even upgraded me to an Ultra room with a spacious bathroom and private terrace. The grounds were stunning, especially the crescent-shaped infinity pool. The staff was attentive and made me feel like royalty. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and luxurious experience.
