I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a comfortable king size bed and a chic bathroom. The balcony overlooking the lake was perfect for enjoying a drink at sunset. The hotel's location was ideal for visiting the nearby ruins, and I rented a bicycle to explore them, which was a fantastic experience. The dining room had a stunning view of the lake, making me feel like I was sitting right on the water. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Wasantha, who helped with everything from bikes to taxis to safaris. The food at the hotel was delicious, with a wide variety of options for breakfast and a great curry.

I had an amazing stay at Ekho Lake House. The hotel staff welcomed me warmly with cold towels, and the room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The lake view from the hotel grounds was breathtaking, especially during sunset. The A la Carte restaurant on stilts over the lake provided a unique dining experience, with a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The attention to detail in the room amenities was impressive, and the manager and his team were always available and attentive. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby Polonnaruwa ruins on the bikes provided by the hotel. I highly recommend this luxurious hotel in a beautiful location.

The suite at the lakeside hotel exceeded expectations. Warm and attentive staff made us feel like royalty. Memorable Sri Lankan dinners and drinks. Stunning sunset views from the infinity pool. Entrance to nearby historical ruins just a short walk away.

My stay at Ekho Lake House was incredible. The spacious room was beautifully furnished, with a comfortable bed and a stunning bathroom. The restaurant, situated on stilts over the lake, offered delicious food and breathtaking views. The highlight was the sunset boat ride on the tank, where we enjoyed a picnic tea and admired the ancient ruins. The service provided by Guest Services Manager, Udesh, was exceptional, and his recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and luxurious experience.

The Ekho Lake House Polonnaruwa was a wonderful stay with very spacious rooms, free soft drinks in the minibar, and a separate exit to the patio. The hotel also had a great restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake and a friendly staff that could help with bicycle rentals. Additionally, the location was ideal as it was only 50 meters away from the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.

We had a perfect stay at a beautiful hotel right by the lake. the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with stunning lake views. the location was fantastic, right next to the entrance of the museum and within walking distance of the ancient city. the staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with PCR tests and transfers. our experience at Ekho Lake House exceeded all expectations and was the highlight of our trip.

The restaurant had a beautiful view of the lake, allowing us to enjoy our meals while taking in the serene surroundings. The room we stayed in had a spacious bathroom and comfortable beds, providing us with a cozy and relaxing stay. The staff was excellent, always attentive and friendly, ensuring that all our needs were met. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a special mention to the homemade yogurt. Additionally, the hotel's close proximity to the archaeological sites made it convenient for us to explore the historic ruins.

One minor downside was an unexpected change in the late checkout policy, leaving us with mixed feelings about our overall experience.

The lake view was stunning and we were able to see monitor lizards swimming while having breakfast. the hotel's staff were very helpful in organizing bike rentals for us at a cheap rate. their taxi service was a great convenience for us.

Although a charming and peaceful location, downtown is quite far from the hotel, making it difficult to find nearby dining options.

Luxurious amenities at this hotel were truly impressive. the rooms were spacious and clean, providing a relaxing atmosphere, while the service was attentive and personalized. the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace offered magnificent views. the location was perfect, we could easily visit ancient ruins nearby.

The only minor issue we experienced at this venue was that some of the staff had difficulties understanding our requests due to their language skills. their eagerness to help made up for this.
