I loved that this hotel was right on the beach, making it super convenient for surfers like me. The rooms on the upper floors had balconies with fantastic views of the sea. And the best part? Breakfast included toast for free!

I had no previous experience surfing, but by the end of my stay at The Surfer, I gained more knowledge than I thought was possible in such a short time. The instructors were incredibly helpful and provided individualized guidance. The accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained. I also had the opportunity to meet other solo travelers and made lifelong friends. I highly recommend this camp for anyone looking to learn to surf!

The location of the hotel was perfect for those looking to surf and enjoy the local area. the rooms were clean and cozy, and the rooftop bar was a great spot to relax after a day of surfing. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the surf lessons were well organized and enjoyable.

there were some construction works nearby which partly spoiled the view from the hotel. Despite these minor inconveniences, overall, it was a great weekend getaway and I had a wonderful time.

The location of this surf camp is amazing, right on the beach at the quieter end of town. It offers easy access to the perfect spot where the white water waves break beautifully. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a private balcony that offers a nice sitting area.

The bathroom facilities could use some improvement.

The Surfer in Weligama exceeded all expectations. The surf lessons were fantastic, with friendly and patient instructors. The food at the restaurant was clean and delicious. The room was spacious and clean, with a great view. The pool was a perfect way to cool off after surfing.
