The Train View is conveniently located right by the train station, making it the perfect place to stay before catching the train. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a heavy blanket to keep you warm at night. The owner and staff are friendly and experienced, providing excellent service. The Sri Lankan breakfast is delicious and included in the price. From the balcony, you can enjoy a priceless view of the village and surroundings.

The showers had slightly low water pressure, but it wasn't a major issue.

No hot water in the rooms, and the signage for the hotel was not very clear making it difficult to find. However, this seems to be a common issue in the area and the hotel offers a shower downstairs with hot water.

Surrounded by tea plantations, the hidden gem offers a magical atmosphere. Authentic Sri Lankan food is the best and most authentic. Comfiest beds on the whole trip. Conveniently close to attractions and public transportation. Worth returning to.
