A delightful surprise! We were amazed by the turtle-friendly pool at this charming hideaway. The owners' love for animals shines through as they care for stray cats, dogs, and even a friendly tortoise. The pool was crystal clear and perfect for a refreshing dip. The room, though a bit dark, was clean and comfortable. The breakfast served by the pool was simple but satisfying, and the coffee was surprisingly good. Despite a couple of minor issues with the shower and water pressure, we still had a clean and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this cute little paradise for a relaxing getaway close to the airport.

Villa Araliya is a charming and comfortable place with a touch of authentic Sri Lanka. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making your stay a pleasant one. The rooms, although basic, are clean and the bed is very comfortable. The pool area is lovely, perfect for relaxing. The chef at the hotel restaurant is excellent, serving delicious food that you won't regret trying. If you're looking for a peaceful place near the airport, this is the best option in this price range.

I recently stayed at Villa Araliya for a few days during my vacation in Sri Lanka. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, with a fantastic local villa-style decor. The Tuk-tuk ride to the nearby fish market and lagoon was a must-try experience. The beach was just a stroll away and the area felt very safe. The highlight for me was the amazing pool area, where I had a great time relaxing and enjoying the excellent service from the staff. Villa Araliya provided a perfect quiet escape and a convenient location near the airport.
