I recently had a wonderful two-night stay at a charming guesthouse located in the heart of the historic area in Galle. Villa Yehinsa - Galle Fort is a hidden gem with comfortable and clean rooms. The highlight of the stay was the beautiful little garden where I enjoyed a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast every morning. The small number of rooms ensures a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and I was even provided with transportation to the bus station in their tuk-tuk. The location is perfect for exploring the historic part of Galle and is within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the center of the old town and very close to the touristic Fort area. Guests can easily explore the colonial town and visit attractions like the lighthouse. The hotel also has a lovely garden where guests can enjoy their breakfast, surrounded by plants and greenery. the rooms are spacious with high ceilings and the shower has good water pressure and hot water.

There were some issues with the wifi connection during my stay. The data limit was insufficient for accessing the Internet for work or other urgent needs.

The staff at this lovely villa were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The breakfast served on the beautiful patio was delicious and varied. The spacious room had high ceilings and a comfortable bed. Extra pillows and a great view were provided. The service exceeded expectations.

Villa Yehinsa is ideally located in the heart of the historic fort area, making it very convenient to explore the tourist attractions. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a beautiful courtyard next to them. The staff provides excellent service and prepares a tasty Sri Lankan breakfast. Guests can enjoy a lovely view from the top and there are even mosquito nets above the bed for added comfort.

Some guests have mentioned that the bathrooms in certain rooms are in need of maintenance.

The rooms were comfortable and decently sized, and the breakfast was enjoyable with a satisfying array of options. The location was also a highlight, being a short distance from major landmarks and attractions.

The cleanliness of the place was not up to par and there was a noticeable issue with bugs and insects. the staff was not as helpful as expected, which put a damper on the overall experience.
